The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is set in an alternate universe. Rita Repulsa is an evil sorceress who gets awakened from her 10,000 years long slumber. Once a wise sage named Zordon learns about Rita’s return, he sends out his assistant to find 5 teenagers who would be capable of protecting Earth.

The robotic assistant finds Jason Lee Scott, Kimberly Hart, Zack Taylor, Trini Kwan and Billy Cranston. All of these teenagers are given special abilities to fight these aliens, and their journey begins.

The plot of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers sounds just like a shounen anime series because this tv series has been adapted from a Japanese TV show. The whole setting of Power Rangers is quite unique and fascinating.

Actors and Characters:

The characters are all quite unique and different from each other. These characters can seem a bit cliché, but they are perfect for their time. All of the actors have done a marvelous job in this tv series and are all icons to a generation of young viewers. Considering the fact that this show was produced back in 1993, we can easily tell that Power Rangers is something special. Power Rangers gave us some of the most brilliantly choreographed fight scenes for its time.
